Terms of use

The terms for using Employee Calculators: estimates for planning, your responsibility for inputs, acceptable use, embeds, and limits of liability.

Last updated: October 8, 2026.

These terms apply to your use of employeecalculators.com and its calculators, guides, and printable templates (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site is

Employee Calculators provides free calculators and educational guides about work hours and pay. Results are estimates based on the values and assumptions you enter. The site does not run payroll, calculate taxes, file anything on your behalf, or verify employment records.

Not professional advice

Nothing on the site is legal, tax, financial, or payroll advice. Rules for overtime, breaks, holidays, paid time off, and final pay vary by state, employer, and contract. Where we describe a law, we link to the source, but the description is general information, not a determination of what applies to you. For decisions that matter, check your employer's records and policies, your state labor department, or a qualified professional. See the calculator disclaimer.

Your inputs and results

You are responsible for the values you enter and for deciding whether a calculator's assumptions fit your situation. Compare results with your own records before relying on them. Data you save in your browser, such as weeks in the weekly pay tracker, stays on your device; keep your own backups, because we cannot recover it.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal, educational, and business purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, scrape it in a way that degrades service, or use the contact form to send spam or abusive content.

Content, printables, and embeds

The site's text, design, and code belong to Employee Calculators. You may print and use the printable time card and print or save your own results freely. You may link to any page. Where we offer an embed code, you may place that calculator on your website as provided, with its attribution link intact. Do not copy our pages or guides to republish them as your own.

Links to other sites

We link to government sources and other websites for reference. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

No warranty

We work to keep formulas correct and tested, as described in our methodology, but the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Tools and content may change or be removed as we correct errors and add features.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Employee Calculators is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results, including pay, tax, or employment decisions. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
