This notice explains what information Employee Calculators ("we", "us") handles when you use employeecalculators.com, and why. The short version: the numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser. We do not have user accounts, and we do not sell or share personal information.
Calculator inputs
Clock times, hours, pay rates, salaries, and other values you enter are processed by code running in your browser. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Unless you choose to save them, they are kept in memory and disappear when you refresh or close the page. Search text on the homepage and calculators page only filters the list in your browser.
Saving on your device
Some tools can save your entries in your browser's local storage on your device:
- The time card and timesheet calculators, only when you turn on "Remember on this device".
- The weekly pay tracker, which saves your weeks automatically so it can show your history.
This data never leaves your device, so we cannot see, recover, or delete it for you. Remove it with "Forget saved entries" or "Delete all saved weeks", or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Files you download, such as CSV exports and tracker backups, are stored wherever you save them. We do not use cookies for these features.
Contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic, the calculator you chose, and your message. We use them only to read and reply to your message and to fix problems you report. The message is delivered by email through Resend, an email delivery service that processes it on our behalf. We keep messages only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and you can ask us to delete your message at any time. Please do not include pay stubs, account numbers, or other sensitive records.
Hosting and security
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of request. This information is used for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
Fonts
The site loads the Geist typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google servers, which receive standard request information such as your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and calculators are used, so we can improve them. It collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and simple product events like "a calculator was used" or "a result was copied" together with the calculator's name. We never send the values you enter, such as hours, rates, or pay amounts. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser. See Google's privacy policy.
Advertising
The site does not show ads. If that changes, this notice will be updated before any advertising service is added.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We share information only with the service providers named above, to run the site and answer messages, or when required by law.
Children
The site is meant for working adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Because calculator inputs stay on your device, the only personal information we usually hold is what you send through the contact form. To make a request, use the contact form and choose "Something else".

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
