No. The Department of Labor notes that the FLSA does not require payment for time not worked, such as vacations or holidays. Some states and cities have paid leave rules, and most PTO comes from employer policy.
Divide by the hours in your workday: 120 hours is 15 days of 8 hours.
Under most capped policies, you stop earning PTO until your balance drops below the cap.
Federal law does not require it. Some states require employers to pay out earned vacation at separation, and others allow policies that forfeit it, so it depends on your state and your employer’s written policy.
